My Lunchbrake
Yesterday, I wanted to take exercise.
So, I went to the playground to join the baseball class with my friend in Hiyoshi.
But, the way to the playground is too long.
It takes 15 minutes to walk from Hiyoshi station to the playground.
Moreover, the way to the playground is too narrow.
Cars often passed walkers at a furious speed.
So, I was always scared.
In the end, I couldn't take anymore and turn back to Hiyoshi station.
I couldn't arrive at the playground.
We shouldn't think to play baseball in Hiyoshi.

WRITING- THE JUDICIARY
The Japanese Legal System
The
Japanese legal system has 3 features.
First,
the Japanese trial has 2 types. One is a civil trial and the other is a
criminal trial. In general, a civil trial is the trial to resolve disputes in
life through legal judgment. This treats of a civil suit, compulsory execution,
bankruptcy, and non-contentious case. On the other hand, a criminal trial is
the trail to apply the punishment to criminals. So, it treats of only criminal
case.
Next,
the Japanese trial has adopted a three court system. It means that there is a chance
to be tried 3 times. In other words, a defendant and an accused person can make
an objection against the judgment. For example, there is an accused person who
is tried by a district court. If he is not satisfied with the judgment, he
could make the first objection against the judgment of a district court. Then,
he is tried by a high court. If he is not satisfied with the judgment again, he
could make the second objection against the judgment of a high court. Then, he is
tried by the Supreme Court. And, he can’t make an objection anymore.
Finally,
there is citizen judge system in Japan. Citizen judge system is the system citizen
judge is chosen from people and citizen judge try a criminal trial with the
court. Japan adopted it in 2005. It is a new system and attracts a great deal
of public attention all over the world.

My Opinion

I think we need to buy "fabo".
"fabo" is one of a brand of canned coffee.
I don't think it is very delicious canned coffee.
But, I have only seen "fabo" on vending machines in Keio Hiyoshi university campus.
So, I think "fabo" is one of the symbol of Keio university.
Keio's water is not the symbol.
However, I find fobo's space of vending machines on November is a third as much as on April.
At this rate, "fabo" will be erased on February.
It is a serious problem.
We not need Keio's water, but need "fabo".
So, we need to buy "fabo".

The Features of PFI in UK
Today, I’m writing about basic philosophy and structure features of PFI in UK.
In the first place, PFI is an abbreviation of Private Finance Initiative. PFI is a style spending private money on developing public services and facilities. The purpose of PFI is to spend not only public money but also private money on public service and facilities to develop economic. PFI was born in UK in 1992. Japan adopted PFI in July, 1999.
Next, the basic philosophy features of PFI in UK has 2 points. First, shifting the risk from government to private sectors. Before PFI was born, only government developed public services. But now, both government and private sectors has the risk to develop public services. Second, setting high value on purchasing of service. The purpose of PFI is to develop economic. So, acquisition of property and equipment is not important.
Finally, structure features of PFI in UK has 3 types. First, the private sectors develop social facilities to operate. It’s called self-standing type. Second, the private sectors and government work together to develop social facilities. It’s called service delivery type. These 2 types provide us such as a motor way, a canal, a railway, waterworks, and so on. Third, the private sectors operate public services. It’s called joint venture type. This type operates public services for example, a hospital, a museum, a school lunch, and a garbage disposal.

My Culture Day

Yesterday, it is Culture Day that is a Japanese national holiday on November 3th.
So, I wanted to behave culturally.
I went to Tsunashima to visit an ancient tomb.
I have never seen ancient tombs without my junior high school's textbook.
That picture was Daisen ancient tomb and I felt that was huge, solemn, and beautiful.
I believed an ancient tomb is one of the most cultural building in Japan.
For these reasons, I think Tsunashima ancient tomb is huge, solemn, and beautiful, too.
But, there were only very small hill with ugly trees.
When I saw this first, I can't understand it an ancient tomb.
I was very surprised to explain about Tsunashima ancient tomb.
In tsunashima ancient tomb, I could only to find a couple playing badminton among trees.
That's too far from culture!
I identified Tsunanshima is not place for Culture Day.

The Difference between Public Schools and Private Schools
Public schools are elite schools
which makes up 10% of the top among the private schools in the UK. Most of
public school students are between 13 and 18. It seems similar to the Japanese
private secondary schools. But, public schools in the UK are different from
private schools in Japan for several reasons.
Almost all public schools are
boarding schools. So, public school students are from not only throughout the
UK but also foreign countries in recent years. In Japan, although there are
over 2000 private junior and senior high schools, only about 10 private junior
and senior high schools are boarding schools.
Next, public schools have very
long history. Japanese most historic private school began in the Meiji era.
This is because of civilization and enlightenment in Meiji era which adopt western
culture and knowledge. In the UK, most schools were controlled by the church
and had specific entrance criteria until the medieval period. There was the
need for the school which unrelated birth and identification of parent. And,
the first public school was built in 1382. It was in the Muromachi period in
Japan. So, public schools in the UK are much longer historical than private
schools in Japan.
Finally, public schools adopt
prefect system. Prefect system is the system older grade students supervise
younger grade students. In public schools, teacher is not principal. Director
representatives among students become center and students strive to maintain
order of student accommodation. It is unfamiliar system in Japan.
For these reasons, public schools
in the UK are different from Japanese private schools and unique for us.
My Sunday

I visited Keio Shiki (my senior high school) to see an annual school festival.
The school festival don't seemed there are big change.
But, there is the change I can find is the school festival leaders jacket became pink.
There is a habit leaders jacket are navy blue (gunjouiro) for over ten years.
It maybe one of breaking out of their shell.
I am gald to find younger students' growth.

But, that was a side purpose.
My true purpose was to go Okinawa cuisine restaurant near Keio Shiki.
I usually eat "Usual chicken" (420yen) there.
But, I wanted to eat unusual Okinawa cuisine.
So, I ordered "Fried Gurukun" (650yen).
I expected very big and delicious chicken.
However, "Fried Gurukun" was nothing but grilled fish (a little salty).
I was disappointment.
I wanted to eat "Usual chicken" (420yen)...

My holiday

I went to Chiba yesterday.
I know something about Chiba.
First, Chiba has Tokyo Disney Land.
Second, Chiba has Narita International Airport.
So, I thought Chiba is one of the big cities in Japan.
It taked 3 hours between my house and Chiba.
I was very excited.
But, when I arrived in Chiba, I can see only green trees and grass.
There is nothing interesting.
I found that actual Chiba is quiet different from Chiba I imagined.
I strongly regreted I came to this amazing countyside.
I learned we must not go to Chiba because there is nothing.
I wanted go to Tokyo Disney Land.
